Web Advisor for Students Main Menu
 
 
Why Can't I Log In?
If the log in process did not complete successfully, you may get one of several messages indicating a possible reason why this process failed.

In this case, the password entered was incorrect. Re-enter your user name and password to try again. Remember your password is case sensitive.                                                Top

 
 
What if I Still Can't Log In?
If you still are unable to log in and don't know why, e-mail webadvisor@octech.edu
 
What if I Have Forgotten My Password?

If you forget your password e-mail webadvisor@octech.edu to have your password reset back to the default setting. Your password will be reset within 24 hours.

 
How do I Change my Password?
For security reasons, passwords will periodically expire requiring you to change your password. Additionally, if you think your password may have been compromised you should immediately change your password.
 
 
From the Web Advisor for Students main menu, click on the Change password button.
 
 

This will bring up the password change screen.

Enter your user name and then your new password. Passwords must be 6 to 9 characters long and contain a combination of letters and numbers.
Clicking Submit will then change your Web Advisor password.                                      Top
 
 
Logging Out of Web Advisor
When you are finished using Web Advisor, always remember to log out. Click the Log Out button to log out.
 
Now you are logged out of Web Advisor.                                                                            Top
