| Why Can't I Log In? |
If the log in process did not complete successfully, you may get one of several messages indicating a possible reason why this process failed. |

In this case, the password entered was incorrect. Re-enter your user name and password to try again. Remember your password is case sensitive. Top |
| What if I Still Can't Log In? |
If you still are unable to log in and don't know why, e-mail webadvisor@octech.edu |
| What if I Have Forgotten My Password? |
If you forget your password e-mail webadvisor@octech.edu to have your password reset back to the default setting. Your password will be reset within 24 hours. |
| How do I Change my Password? |
For security reasons, passwords will periodically expire requiring you to change your password. Additionally, if you think your password may have been compromised you should immediately change your password. |
From the Web Advisor for Students main menu, click on the Change password button. |

This will bring up the password change screen. |

Enter your user name and then your new password. Passwords must be 6 to 9 characters long and contain a combination of letters and numbers. |
Clicking Submit will then change your Web Advisor password. Top |
| Logging Out of Web Advisor |
When you are finished using Web Advisor, always remember to log out. Click the Log Out button to log out. |
